There are methods available in the market to adhere to NFPA 70E and help to protect against Arc Flash events. During our recent web seminar, we explained the consequences of Arc Flash and some of the guidance available to help avoid these events. This follow-on web seminar will discuss solutions that are available to allow for safe thermal inspections of equipment to help avoid Arc Flash events. The solutions are actual documented ways industry has implemented safe, cost effective solutions.

Documents are often taken for granted, especially in the realm of plant and equipment maintenance. In some instances, proper, complete and current documentation is not available because the scale and complexity of these documents makes them hard to be kept updated. When we think about the times updates were left out, changes were not made, and portions just went missing, it's no wonder problems increase and reactive maintenance prevails. This can create serious risk in maintenance operations, as crews execute tasks based on out-of-date methods and procedures. Additionally, the sheer scale of these documents makes it difficult to efficiently target information so that maintenance crews have exactly what they need, when they need it.

There are numerous variations of thermal imagers in the market today. Some have features that are beneficial, others do not. The item that thermographers are clearly interested in is resolution. Whether it be 160x120, 320x240 or 640x480, each has its benefits and trade-offs with cost. So, how much resolution do you really need? Is there a method you can use to determine which resolution would be best for you? Are there 2 or 3 questions that you can answer that will point you to the right resolution needed? Join us for this Free Web Seminar to learn more about Thermal Imaging Resolution and the benefits it can provide to you.
