Safer Flash-Point Testing

Grabner's MiniFlash is a flash-point tester with a continuously closed cup that requires only 1mL of sample to function. According to the company, it is the first such instrument that doesn't test with an open flame, allowing it to be operated safely and without supervision. Flash point testing within the MiniFlash was developed according to ASTM D6450 and D7094, which give results equivalent to ASTM D56, D93 or ISO 2719, and are used worldwide with a wide range of substances.
